This map is ornated with a decorative title cartouche in the lower right corner. In the upper right corner we find a text cartouche with scale bars. Villages and towns are shown as miniature views. A very good example in excellent condition. A highly decorative early map of the region of Salzburg, towns are still shown as miniature engraved city views, mountains, woods, rivers and lakes are decorative engraved. The map was engraved after the cartographic source by Marcus Secznagel. In the lower left corner is a wonderful picture with allegoric figures and in the lower right corner we look at puttos next to the engraved explanations in German language.
