Copper engraving, hand colored in outline and wash. Fine and decorative early map of Moravia. The map provides good information's on early place names in the 16th century in Moravia, as well rivers and mountains are engraved. Villages and towns are still shown as miniature views. In the upper left corner we find the renaissance cartouche and in the lower right corner we see a mileage scale with a circle and the coats of arms of Moravia.

Copper engraving, hand colored in outline and wash when published. This decorative map shows the circle of Hradisch in Moravia. Inside the map are many mountains, place names, rivers, etc. detailed engraved. In the lower right corner we find large figurative title cartouche. At the bottom a very nice wonderful engraved landscape. In the lower left we see a cartouche with a table of explanations and a small mileage scale.
Published plano without a centre fold. In excellent condition.

Copper engraving, hand colored in outline when published. This large map shows Moravia and the Austrian part of Silesia. Oelmutz, Bruenn and Weiskirchen are in the centre of the map. This old map is equipped with an enormous amount of small place names, little castles, schools, mining places, schools, streets, routes, etc. At the bottom of the map with a detailed explanation in German and French language.
The map is mounted on publisher's linen and was folded twice. The old folds are minor visible. In very good to excellent condition.
