A highly detailed map of Alabama with the neighbouring western part of Florida based on the map by Tanner of the early 1840s. The map is divided up into its counties and provides detailed information on small place names, rivers and streets. Even distances near certain streets are engraved. In the upper right corner a small table of explanations, further at the left side a table with steamboat routes: Mobile - Tuscaloosa. Mobile - Montgomery. - Mobile - Pensacola.
