Artist: Theunis, Jacobsz & Lootsman, Jacob and Casparus Published: Amsterdam, Jacques & Gasper Anthoine Date: 1662 Size: [42,7 x 52,8 cm] Technic: Copper engraving / later handcolor Description: Two engraved handcoloured maps on one doublepage. The chart '... van Abbo ofte Uttoy' is detailled showing superior islands around Uttoy, the other seachart shows detailled the nearer area of Stockholm with many superior islands and bays, the coastline south towards Landsoort near Wigsteen. The maps have many details, names of towns and villages along the coastlines, anchor places, islands and sandbanks are with marked depths. The maps are ornated with decorative title-cartouches, two compass-roses and two ships. In the lower right corners we find a milage scales to convert Dutch, Spanish, English & French leagues to degrees.
