The maps shows North and South America with the neighboring Pacific Ocean with the Sandwich Islands and Polynesia. In the Northeast the map extends towards Iceland and Greenland. With many details on North America and its political borders. Mexico extends here still far northwest on the Pacific coast. The map is based on the cartographic sources by Arrowsmith, Brue und Lapie.
