This English county map of Nottingham Shire is highly decorative with its figurative and allegoric title cartouche, as well the map is ornated with heraldic family coats of arms on both sides. On the map itsself are many placenames given, smaller villages or settlements also appear, also rivers, lakes, mountains and woods are also engraved. Notes: In very good condition. Printed on the full sheet as published, a minor ink soiling at the upper margin, just affecting slightly within the upper engraved border.
