Description: Lithograph, original color in outline and wash. This large antique map shows Kentucky and Tennessee in the United States. The map has many place names, rivers, etc. engraved. In the lower right corner we find a view of the 'Entrance to the Mammoth Cave' and in the lower left corner a view of 'Navy Yard Memphis'. In the upper left corner next to the title is a view of 'State House Nashville'. The views on this map are altered compared to the edition by Johnson & Ward. The counties of Kentucky and Tennessee are hand colored in wash. Notes: In very good condition. A light brown spot within the image (near Williamstown). Condition: G/VG Reference: Price: /
