This decorative and unusual map of Africa was published 1831 in Vienna at Florian Mollo. The map is based on F. Schmits. The interesting map provides a lot of place names, lakes, mountains and names of rivers. At the bottom we fin a explanation for the outline colors showing the different European possessions in Africa. Inside the map are many place names, rivers, woods, etc. engraved. At the left side we look to the Atlantic Ocean and at the right side we see the Indian Ocean. Notes: In very good to excellent condition. A minor ink stain at the upper engraved border.
