Beautifully hand colored, ornated with a decorative renaissance title cartouche, coat of arms, mileage scale, sea monsters and ships in the German & Irish Sea. Further on the map is ornated with two panels showing each four customs of English noble and rural people. Further equipped with an detailed engraved table or catalogue listing all English shires with their cities, bishoprics, rivers, bridges, etc. The actual map was engraved by Abraham Goos in 1646.
