Decorative and early map of Spain and Portugal by the famous Dutch cartographer Abraham Ortelius. The map is ornated a title cartouche in the lower right corner and a scale of mileage in the lower left corner. The 'privilegium' is written in the lower right corner. Villages and towns are shown as miniature views, moreover the map is ornated with ships, sea monsters and animals. A good impression of this uncolored example of Abraham Ortelius's 'Regni Hispaniae ...', two Notes: Two skillfully restored tears (left of Lisboa towards Riomerro) and a minor marginal skillful mending at the lower centre fold, else a good and clear impression of this uncolored example.
